The Little British Fabric Shop was set up in 2014 by me, Toni, Mum of two. It was born out of my love of sewing, my addiction to fabric, my determination not to return to my previous line of work after having my children and a wish to work from home whilst my children are still young. 

I absolutely love to sew and will try my hand at anything, but I can mostly be found making such things as bags and quilts. In the last year I have been making and selling bags, cushions and quilts - either by commission or at local craft fairs/on Etsy.

On this website we currently stock a selection of designer fabrics from Free Spirit Fabrics, Moda, Robert Kaufman, Dashwood Studio and Art Gallery Fabrics to name just a few, sold both by the quarter metre/fat quarter and as co-ordinating fat quarter bundles and we pride ourselves on being competitively priced. We also stock a small selection of pre-cuts.

Designers include William Morris, Alison Glass, Libs Elliott, Kaffe Fassett, Tula Pink and many more.

We also stock Portuguese cork fabric which is ideal for making bags, and bag hardware.
